The responsibility of your and your family's safety couldn't be any more important today than ever.  Prepare yourself to legally protect those that you love the most! This South Carolina approved permit course is for all South Carolina Citizens who want or need to carry a concealed handgun for their personal or family's safety. ​In this course, you will learn parts and operation of the handgun, proper and safe storage of a handgun, and techniques for improving the skills needed for accurate shot placement.  Legal requirements and obligations for the concealed weapons permit holder will also be reviewed and discussed. Upon completion of this course you may apply to the State of South Carolina for a concealed weapons permit. ​Lessons and topics covered: South Carolina statutory and case law regarding handguns and use of force. Handgun use and safe handling skills. Proper storage practices. Practical evolutions with experienced instructors. Legal provisions and prohibited carry locations. Guidance on the selection of a firearm and associated gear. What is included: Instruction by experienced and vetted instructors. SLED required paperwork. Cancellation Policy

Carolina Tactical Training has a no refund policy due to the fact that there are a limited number of seats scheduled for each class. Class sizes are held to a manageable size for safety of the clients and staff. When a student registers for a class and cancels that means that someone else could have taken that seat. The only opportunity for a refund is if it becomes necessary for Carolina Tactical Training to cancel the class due to low attendance or weather etc. Students needing to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances must do so within 48 hours of class starting. When classes are scheduled seats in the class are utilized to logistically provide the course. Some evolutions require a certain number of students to be successful. Students successfully rescheduling a course will be rescheduled in the next course scheduled on our training calendar. Carolina Tactical Training reserves the right to review reasons for cancellations or refunds on a case by case basis.
