This class is our level 1 handgun course and is geared towards the new shooter or experienced shooter wanting a refresher on the fundamentals and basics..  The Handgun Essentials course will take the shooter through the understanding of handguns and how they operate and how to properly operate them.

Essential concepts covered include:

• Grip

• Stance

• Trigger Control

• Sight Alignment and Target Acquisition

• Basic Loading and unloading

​

Students will also walk away with a thorough understanding of how handguns work and how to select the best firearm for you.

​

Needed Supplies:

• Semi Automatic Handgun with 2 magazines

• 100 Rounds of ammunition

• Eye and Ear Protection

• Snacks and Drink

• Bug Spray/Sunscreen

• Clothing for the climate.  We will shoot in light rain.
